Course Title	Basic Bricklaying And Plastering
Introduction	This 4 day course is designed to give delegates a general awareness of basic bricklaying and plastering
Aims	All delegates will be able to carry out basic brickwork and plastering repairs and make good fire place catchment areas.
Training Days	4 Days
Content	º Understand material requirements for reconstruction of fire place openings. º Understand the requirements of class 1 fluing standards. º Understand the requirements of building regulations for catchment areas. º Inspection of flue, chamber and chimney stack and seal as appropriate. º Insert copex liner. º Importance of lintels. º Restore fire place openings to correct size. º Smoke test to check flue drawing correctly. º Importance of pipe work being sleeved and sealed. º Correct rendering methods. º Set up boiler position
