| Introduction | This new re-assessment programme is available only for operatives who have ASC CCN1 certificates and require renewal on or after September 2003. The re-assessment consists of 3 days refresher training and 2 says assessment, which will give operatives CCN1 and up to 5 specialist subject certification |

To provide operatives with refresher training on the changes which have taken place to regulations over the last 5 years and prepare them for the ACS re-assessment |

º Characteristics of combustion º Ventilation º Installation of pipework & fittings º Tightness testing & purging of domestic sized natural gas installations º Checking and / or setting regulators º Identification of unsafe situations º The operation & positioning of emergence isolation controls and valves º Checking and setting appliance / equipment gas safety devices and controls º Flue inspection and testing º Re-establish existing gas supply & relight appliances º Inspect test & commission domestic gas appliances |
