Apprentice of the Year 2004/05 - Posted 13th December 2005.

Top of the class gas industry apprentices from across the North had good reason to celebrate at the annual Lomax Training Services awards night held in Sunderland.

And it was the City Council's Aiden Craig (back middle) who carried off the top prize of Apprentice of the Year.

Roy Oxley, Training Manager at MTS (GB) Limited presented the main awards and LTS Managing Director, Jim Lomax who handed over the certificates to all the year's successful apprentices, said it was important to celebrate success. "We have an extremely high pass rate on all of our courses and we have some exceptional young people who will not just be the gas engineers of tomorrow but are the future of the industry," he said.
