Meet the Team
A highly trained team recognised for its excellence is essential for any organisation - but none more so than in the training industry itself. And that is why Lomax Training Services invests heavily in individual and team development - and they have proved it with a list of awards and accreditations.
Within two years of forming, the company was awarded the Investors in People and UKAS Awards and could boast ISO 9001:2000.
Since then the company has been shortlisted by a number of organisations including the Northern Offshore Federation, National Training Awards and Investors in People, their finest night coming when awarded the IIP Silver Award for Excellence in Training in February 2004.
But it is the training of individuals within the team that has brought this success and the recognition from clients that their people were being trained by the best. Every trainer much achieve the NVQ in Training and Development - not at the basic level - but work towards the highest level possible.
The development and training of our own staff couldn't be more important and we encourage a programme for all our staff to improve their skills and personally develop. In recent months the staff have successfully completed a number of courses making them better equipped to deliver for their clients.
They were:
- Tracey Butler: Conflict Management C & G, D32 and D33 (assessors' awards)
- Sharon Lomax: D32 and D33 (assessors' awards)
- Ralph Donkin and John Rosenbrier: NVQ2 in Business Administration
- George Lomax, Brian Soulsby, Malcolm Goodall and Jim Ross: Full TDLB (Training Development Lead Body) Level 3
